Salman Summoned By Jodhpur Court
Salman Khan has been directed to appear in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate in Jodhpur on April 23 for recording his statements in the Arms Act case in connection with the 1998 black buck poaching case.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Anupama Bijlani asked his counsel to ensure that the actor is present in the court, following the examination of four witnesses today.

According to the actor's counsel H M Saraswat, "Four witnesses of the prosecution were examined between April 13 and today. Now, Mr Khan will have to appear in the court on April 23 for recording of his statements."

These witnesses who have just been examined had been allowed to be called by the court on March 3 after it was brought to the court’s notice that some pending applications moved by the then public prosecutor dating back to 2006 were undecided. The court, which was on the verge of pronouncing the judgment in the case last month, then refused to proceed in the case and on plea of the prosecution, had allowed to summon and examine these witnesses.
