Salman Khan To Miss Family’s Annual Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations This Year; Actor Can’t Break Bio-Bubble For Tiger 3 Shoot: Report
As per the latest report, Salman Khan won’t be a part of this year's Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. It will be difficult for the actor to return home considering strict Covid-19 protocols.
This year, the month of September marks one of the most auspicious festivals - Ganesh Chaturthi. The celebrations for the 10-day festival will begin from September 10 and will be celebrated with much pomp and fervour across the nation. Bollywood celebrities are also known for celebrating the festival with great gusto. Many celebs bring Lord Ganesha at their homes every year and amongst them is Salman Khan. However, as per the latest report, the actor won’t be a part of Ganpati celebrations at his home this year.
Salman is currently in Turkey with Katrina Kaif for the shoot of his upcoming actioner Tiger 3. It is said that the actor cannot break the bio-bubble that he's shooting in for Yash Raj’s movie. An Etimes report said, “Salim sa'ab and family will have Lord Ganesha blessing their home for one-and-half days, like every year. But no, it's just not possible for Salman to be a part of those proceedings. He cannot break the bio-bubble he's shooting in, for Yash Raj's 'Tiger'.”
Every year, Salman Khan and his family celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with a lot of zest and zeal. His residence Galaxy Apartments is usually flooded with celebs and fans alike on the occasion. Since its inception in 2001, there hasn’t been a single year when the family missed bringing the Ganesha to their homes.
Back in 2014 also, Salman missed the celebrations as he was in Los Angeles for a medical check-up. He had then undergone treatment for trigeminal neuralgia.
