Salman Khan Thanks Fans After Jodhpur Court Rejects Govt’s Petition In Blackbuck Poaching Case; Tweets ‘Thank You For Your Love Support And Concern’
Salman Khan made a tweet on Thursday night. In his tweet, the Dabangg 3 actor thanked fans for their support after Jodhpur court dismisses the government’s plea in blackbucks poaching case. On Thursday, the Jodhpur District and Sessions Court dismissed a petition filed by the Rajasthan government, alleging that Bollywood actor Salman Khan had presented wrong evidence in court in connection to the blackbuck poaching case. The Rajasthan government had alleged in its petition that Salman had presented a false affidavit related to the Arms Act.  

After receiving a breather, Salman Khan shared a picture of him on social media and thanked all his fans for the love, support and concern they have shown towards him. The actor shared the picture and tweeted, “To all my fans…thank u for your love support n concern. Khayal rakho apna n parivaar ka. God bless n loveee u too (sic).” In his tweet, Salman sent fans love, and asked them to take care of themselves. As soon as the news about the petition being dismissed made it to the headlines, Salman Khan’s fans started rejoicing. They showered the actor with love and support. On Thursday night, Khan’s fans started the trend ‘We Love You Salman Khan’ on Twitter, singing praises of the actor.

Meanwhile, according to ANI, Hastimal Saraswat, representing Salman Khan revealed that the Court has rejected the plea filed by Rajasthan government. He said, “We already informed the court in 2006 that we had not submitted any false information. For the unversed, Salman Khan was booked for poaching two chinkaras in 1998 under Section 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act. In 2018, a trial court had convicted the actor and awarded him a five-year prison sentence for the killing of the blackbucks. He had then challenged the verdict of the trial court in the Sessions Court. Actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre, who were present during the incident were also acquitted.
