Salman Khan Summoned By Court To Appear On April 5 For Allegedly Misbehaving With A Journalist-Reports
As per the latest reports, actor Salman Khan has been summoned by the Andheri Magistrate Court in a case of alleged misbehavior with a journalist. For the unversed, in 2019, a journalist named Ashok Pandey had filed a case against Khan accusing him of misbehaving with him. In his complaint, the journalist had stated that he was filming the actor with his consent when he was riding the cycle. But, Salman and his bodyguard allegedly misbehaved with him. Ashok also claimed said that the Sultan actor hit him and snatched his phone.

Now, in the latest development, in this case, the Mumbai court has summoned Salman for offenses under IPC Sections 504 and 506. ANI on Tuesday, tweeted, “Andheri Magistrate Court summons Salman Khan to appear on April 5 in a 2019 case filed by a journalist Ashok Pandey for allegedly misbehaving with him. Court has summoned the actor for offenses under IPC sections 504 and 506.” Not just Salman, his bodyguards have also received summons warrants for an alleged assault case filed by the journalist. As per the complaint, the incident took place on April 24, 2019, when he was traveling from Juhu to Kandivali by car with his cameraman and Salman was seen cycling on the way. In order to record his video, the journalist asked for permission from his two of his bodyguards and he was granted. But later, the actor saw him making his video and got angry as he probably did not like it and hit him. In fact, Ashok Pandey in his complaint had also accused of police of not acting on the complaint and for not taking any stern action against the actor after he reported the incident.

On the other hand, yesterday, Salman Khan’s 1998 blackbuck poaching case has been transferred to Rajasthan High Court. It is being said that all the pleas related to this case will now be heard by the High Court.
