It’s been over 25 years that fans have been eagerly waiting for Bollywood actor Salman Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar to collaborate again after their blockbuster movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. On Sunday it was heavily reported by multiple media outlets that the actor has opted out of their much-anticipated movie The Bull, directed by Shershaah fame Vishu Vardhan, after constant delays from the team. It was stated that Salman had opted out of the film as he was all set to start shooting for yet another project. 

Now, a report by Bollywood Life dismissed the reports of Salman exiting Karan’s film The Bull. Calling it baseless, the entertainment portal quoted their industry insider stating that the actor and producer are eagerly waiting to collaborate on the movie which is based on real-life events. The source told them, “Salman and Karan Johar's collaboration is very much in place and they are doing The Bull together, both the superstar and filmmaker are looking forward to this collaboration after 25 years, as the last time they had worked together in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.” ALSO READ: WHAT! It was rumoured that due to the movie being pushed three times due to production delays, Khan opted out of the movie. The 58-year-old actor had happily adjusted his dates as per the movie’s shooting schedule, however, he exited the movie as he is now gearing up to start shooting for AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick. The movie will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. According to Bollywood Hungama’s unnamed source, Salman politely informed Karan about his decision to back out from The Bull as they couldn’t commit to the exact timelines of the shoot. For the unversed, The Bull revolves around Brigadier Bulsara's leadership during the pivotal Operation Cactus in the Maldives in 1988. Previous reports suggested that Salman has even started a rigorous training routine to prepare for his role in the film. The film has been stalled multiple times owing to the Maldives vs Lakshadweep controversy. It is to be noted that the makers of the film have yet to release an official announcement about the movie being shelved.
