Salman Khan Shares How He Deals With Failed Friendship; Actor Says It Bothers Him At First, But Later ‘Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind’ Is His Way
Salman Khan besides his profession has been known to maintain warm bonds with people for a really long period. The actor is often seen welcoming his pals from the industry whom he has known for more than 2-3 decades at his family gathering. The actor during a launch event for fitness expert Deanne Pandey’s wellness book was quizzed about losing friends. Replying to which he shared it hurts for some time, but he has his own way to overcome it.

When asked how he judges people’s character, replying to which he mentioned he takes a lot of time to be friends with someone, hence whatever friends he has, are with him for the last 20-30 years. Also speaking about new people in his friend circle, they are not that close to him. He said, “I take a lot of time in becoming friends, so all the friends that I’ve had have been 20-30 years old. And all the new people who keep coming in, they’re there, but they’re not as close as the four-five friends that I’ve had.”

He also continued sharing that just like in the beginning when one finds warmth in someone’s company everything is fine, hence one needs also accept the flaws that come to surface later in their bond.

“So when you get to know... First, everyone’s really cool, and then you get to know each other’s faults. If you’re okay with their faults then you’re fine. Because their qualities are a thousand times more than what their weaknesses are. If you’re okay with the weaknesses, you’re okay with them, but if you’re not okay with the weaknesses, and some friends aren’t as strong, then you don’t need that relationship,” adds Salman Khan. But also agrees to the fact that some people will gradually go their way and it does bother but later mentions, after a point it’s ‘out of sight, out of mind’.

Also speaking about the difference between anger and temper, he shares anger is good and temper is not, he says, “I have anger, which is needed. Anger is not bad if you want to take a stand you should have anger. I don’t have a temper and that’s not good. We get upset about small things like if someone is late, or if the shoot didn’t start on time.
