Salman Khan's ‘Radhe-Your Most Wanted Bhai’ Re-Released In Tripura; Fans Flock The Theatre
Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, starring Salman Khan and Disha Patani, saw an OTT release on Eid this year
Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai premiered on Eid in May this year. The makers opted for an OTT release owing to the second wave of COVID-19. The Prabhudeva directorial was released on Zee5, and it received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike. Now, after five months, the movie has been re-released in a theatre in Tripura, and fans have been flocking to the cinema halls to watch the movie since October 1.
A Bollywood Hungama report suggests that more than 300 tickets have been sold in the past six days. Considering the response, the cinema hall owner has decided to run the film the following week too. However, he also added that they will be able to play the film till October 9 only as a Bengali film is releasing on Sunday, October 10, on the occasion of Durga Puja.
“We are running three shows a day, at 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The film has been collecting around Rs. 6000-6500 daily and these are very good collections. On October 2, the film even collected nearly Rs 8000," Satadeep Saha, CEO of SSR Cinemas, told Bollywood Hungama.
He added, “300+ tickets have been sold in 6 days. The film has collected Rs. 40,000 nett approximately till now this week."
Along with Salman Khan, Radhe also features Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. Presented by Salman Khan films in association with ZEE Studios, the movie was produced by Bhaijaan, Sohail Khan and Reel Life Production Private Limited.
