Salman Khan's Legal Team Issues A Statement On Actor's Behalf; Slams False Reports As Khan Does Not Own KWAN 'Directly Or Indirectly'
Yesterday, Deepika Padukone's name emerged in the drug case being investigated by the Narcotics Control Bureau. Chats of the actress exchanged with manager Karishma Prakash, an employee of KWAN Talent Management, supposedly asking for drugs came to fore. While Karishma was summoned by NCB, today, reports emerged that the head of the talent management company, Dhruv, has also been summoned. Amidst this, it was also reported that Salman Khan holds stakes in the said film. However, the actor's legal team has rubbished all these reports.

As reported by Bombay Times, Anand Desai of DSK Legal issued a statement saying, "Certain sections of the media are falsely reporting that our client Mr. Salman Khan, a leading Indian actor, has a majority stake in the talent management agency KWAN Talent Management Agency Private Limited.  It is clarified that Mr. Salman Khan has no stake, directly or indirectly, in Kwan or any of its group entities. It is requested that media refrains from publishing false reports about our client.”

Apart from Deepika Padukone, names of other Bollywood stars such as Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Shraddha Kapoor and others have also made their way to the media. It is being reported that these celebrities will be summoned soon.


The NCB came into action to bust the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood after a drugs angle emerged in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by NCB and reportedly, she has given out names of A-listers of NCB who consume drugs.
