Salman Khan's Bharat Trailer: Shah Rukh Khan Finds It "Bahut Khoob"
Just a while back, the makers of Bharat treated us with the official trailer. It came as a surprise to everybody because there was no buzz whatsoever around its release and the launch event is scheduled for April 24. However, it seems like the team decided to give fans a preview two days before.

The 3-minute-11 second long trailer is earning praise and it has already begun trending at the top spot on social media. Amongst all the appreciation, one of the best compliments comes from Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar replying to Salman Khan’s Bharat Trailer on social media wrote, “Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob.”

Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is an official remake of the Korean movie, An Ode To My Father. The movie will encompass Salman’s journey from the age of 18 to 70 and he will be seen sporting five different looks. Disha Patani plays a trapeze artiste in the film whereas Katrina essays the role of Madam Sir.

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra was to play the role, now enacted by Katrina, but the actress opted out of the project, citing personal reasons. During a recent interview when Kat was asked about signing Bharat, the actress replied that it was truly professional. Speaking to Mid-Day, Ms Kaif said, “Ali and I are good friends, but when it comes to work, we are completely honest with each other. I read the script from start to finish in three hours and immediately called him to tell him that I loved it. I realised there was an opportunity of going the extra mile with this character. So, it had nothing to do with my friendship with Salman or Ali. In fact, Salman did not even call me after I signed the film. We met directly on the set.”

Bharat will be releasing during Eid this year.
