The Mumbai Crime Branch initiated proceedings against six individuals in connection with the incident. Among them, four suspects—Sagar Pal (21), Gupta (24), Sonu Kumar Bishnoi (35), and Anuj Kumar Thapan (23)—were apprehended, while two others, namely gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi, were declared fugitives. The application of MCOCA underscores the gravity of the situation, signalling the authorities' intent to tackle organized crime effectively. Notably, Lawrence Bishnoi, already incarcerated at Sabarmati Central Prison in Gujarat for a separate offence, faces additional charges in this case. Meanwhile, his brother Anmol Bishnoi is suspected to be residing abroad, possibly in Canada or the United States, as per official sources. The Mumbai police have issued a lookout notice for Anmol Bishnoi, aiming to locate and apprehend him.




The specific roles of Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta in the firing incident outside Salman Khan's residence have come under scrutiny. Allegedly involved in discharging five rounds, they were swiftly apprehended by law enforcement.
