Bollywood actor Salman Khan is currently busy filming his upcoming actioner Sikandar, alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Taking time off from his busy schedule he has been attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding functions in Mumbai. Having made a name for himself in the entertainment industry, his fans have been awaiting updates on the investigation process of the firing case that took place at his Mumbai residence. According to a recent report, the Mumbai Police have now filed a chargesheet against nine individuals, including gangster Lawrence Bhisnoi, in connection to the firing case.

A report by LatestLy states that the crime branch in a special MCOC court filed a 1,735-page charge sheet in a special court against six arrested accused and three wanted individuals, including gangster Bishanoi. It reportedly included various investigation documents incorporated in three volumes. The evidence has 46 witness statements and statements of witnesses under section 164 of CrPC, which were recorded before the magistrate. Apart from the confessional statements under the MCOC (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime) Act, the chargesheet documents also have 22 panchanamas and technical evidence, adds the report. Another report by the Hindustan Times states that the Mumbai police officials confirmed that the audio recovered from one of the arrested suspects in the firing case matched the voice of Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi. The officials had sent the audio to a forensic lab for verification. For those who don’t remember, Anmol has taken responsibility for the attack through a social media post, shortly after it had happened in April 2024. 


For the unversed two individuals on a bike open fired five rounds of bullets at Khan’s residence in Bandra, Galaxy Apartments, on April 14 at 5 am. After the case was registered, the police officials arrested six individuals out of which Anuj Thapan, allegedly committed suicide in a police lock-up on May 1. 

On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick Sikander alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
