Salman Khan Renews Rent Licence For Retail Giant Supermarket For 89 Lakhs A Month; Deposit Of Rs 2.68 Crore Paid For Agreement-Report
Salman Khan has rented a lavish property to a supermarket franchise in Mumbai and the actor has renewed the rent license for the retail giant
Bollywood’s Dabangg Salman Khan is one of the most bankable actors in the film industry. Apart from earning a whopping amount from movies, the actor is also a profitable businessman. The Sultan actor rented a lavish property- a multi-story building owned and constructed by his firm, to a supermarket franchise in Mumbai. As per the latest report, Khan has recently renewed the rent license for the property. The license has been renewed under a two-year agreement.
According to an Etimes TV report, the Kick actor renewed a two-year agreement with the retail giant and it will give him a rent of Rs 89.60 lakh for the first year. It will be increased to Rs. 94.08 lakh in the second year. Documents accessed by SquareFeatIndia.com mentioned that Salman renewed the lease of the property that he had rented to the Foodhall brand at Linking Road in Mumbai. In 2017, the 56-year-old actor had given the property on lease to Foodhall's parent retail company for 5 years. On September 5, he renewed the lease with TNSI Retail Pvt Ltd a subsidiary of the parent company, which runs Foodhall. The report added that the total area rented is 2568.85 sq meters and it includes the basement, ground floor, first floor, and second floor of the building in Bandra. Also, a deposit of Rs 2.68 crore was paid for this agreement. Both parties paid the stamp duty of Rs 5.87 lakh.
Talking about the specialised supermarket, it is a grocery, cafe, bakery, and gift shop, everything just under one roof. It has become one of the most popular hotspots for Bandra residents. Notably, B-Town stars, too, are often spotted here.
On the professional front, Salman has many interesting projects in the lineup. Amongst them is the actioner 'Tiger 3' with Katrina Kaif, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
