Salman Khan Inspired By Harrison Ford Starrer Indiana Jones Franchise; Actor To Star In A Trilogy?
According to the latest reports, Salman Khan is planning to make a trilogy film that will on the lines of Harrison Ford starrer Indiana Jones franchise. Reportedly, he won't just produce the film, Khan will also star in the adventure franchise
All the Salman Khan fans out there here's a piece of good news for you guys. The Dabangg 3 actor is all set to star in a new film which will be on a Hollywood movie scale. Currently, the 54-year-old actor is boasting of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Now we have heard that the actor is coming with a trilogy film which will on the lines of Harrison Ford starrer Indiana Jones franchise.
As per the reports in Filmfare, a source close to the development revealed to the portal that the Sultan of Bollywood is planning to develop and star in an adventure trilogy on the lines of Hollywood blockbuster Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones that was created by Steven Spielberg. The source revealed that Salman Khan's production house is developing a three-part film series which will be similar to Indian Jones. Since the franchise was a super hit at the box-office back then, Salman wants the same thing for his film as well.
The source further states that the storyline of the film will be new but they will be taking inspiration from Indiana Jones. The report stated that along with producing the film, Khan will also star in the adventure franchise. However, Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy is said to be a trilogy. So if these rumours have any truth to it, then it would be interesting to watch another Trilogy with Salman playing the desi version of Indiana Jones. What say?
On his professional front, Salman Khan has locked this year’s Eid as well next year's Eid as he will be bringing Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Apart from these two, it is also said that Salman to play a Sikh cop in another film and will be growing a beard for real and will sport a turban, as claimed by a report in Mumbai Mirror. Interestingly, Aayush is also a part of this action drama where he plays a North Indian gangster. The film is said to have a year-end or early 2021 release.
