Bollywood actor Salman Khan leaves no stone unturned when it comes to showering his industry friends and acquaintances with praise for their exceptional work. Having garnered a huge fan following on social media, over the years, he often leaves the netizens elated with the praises. On March 13, he took to his official social media handle to laud director Kiran Rao for her recent release Laapataa Ladies. The Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Ravi Kishan, and Chhaya Kadam starrer has been raking in love and admiration from the critics as well as the audience.

On Wednesday, Salman took to X and hailed Kiran for her directorial Laapataa Ladies. While mentioning how even his father loved watching the film, he mistakenly called it her debut project. He wrote, “Just saw Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah Kiran. I really enjoyed it n so did my father. Congrats on your debut as a director, superb job. Kab kaam karogi mere saath?” Well, this led to the netizens mocking the actor and reminding him that Kiran’s directorial debut was with Dhobi Ghat, a movie that was released in 2011. On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in Tiger 3 alongside Emraan Hashmi and Katrina Kaif. While the actor has yet to officially announce his next project, he reported having Vishnuvardhan directorial The Bull and Tiger Vs Pathaan in his pipeline. He recently annoiunced that he would be collaborating with producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director AR Murugadoss for an upcoming project.
