Salman Khan Appreciates “Younger Brother” Rohit Shetty’s Gesture Of Averting Clash; Announces Sooryavanshi’s New Release Date
To avoid a clash with Salman Khan on Eid 2020, Rohit Shetty has brought the release date of his next cop universe closer. Yes, that’s true! After announcing the release date of Sanjay Leela Bhanshali’s directorial Inshallah, Salman now has announced the new release date of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi.

Eid being the Dabangg actor’s favourite festival to release a film, the makers chose the big day for the release of Inshallah starring Salman and Alia Bhatt. Following which, Shetty decided to preponed the release date of Sooryavashi. Taking to social media, Salman Khan posted a picture with Rohit Shetty while announced the release date. His caption read, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it... @itsrohitshetty. Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020.”

Karan Johar too posted the same picture and wrote, “The ultimate Khiladi & the blockbuster director are arriving on 27th March, 2020 in your cinema halls with #Sooryavanshi! Special thanks & love to @beingsalmankhan!@akshaykumar @itsrohitshetty @ajaydevgn @ranveersingh @katrinakaif @apoorva1972 @reliance.entertainment @rohitshettypicturez @dharmamovies #CapeOfGoodFilms”

Earlier, while speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Rohit Shetty had reacted on Sooryavanshi clashing with Inshallah. He had said, “There is still a lot of time in that (release of the film). We are not even thinking about the clash. We have just started the shoot and are concentrating only on that. Nowadays everything is controversial. Even the controversies are losing their charm. Earlier people used to be worried, there are still some who do get worried but now a controversy is done and dusted in just 48 hours. So one should just sleep over it and after 48 hours people's focus will be on some other controversy.”

While Katrina had told DNA, “Salman loves Akshay, he loves Rohit. He will always be supportive of me in the work place. So, I don’t think he will let his film clash with Sooryavanshi.”
