Salman: I'll Keep Going Through Difficult Times. That's My Karma
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star gets philosophical about his court cases
With the astounding success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and the promise of a bumper hit in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Salman Khan is currently in a good space. But the demons of his past seem to haunt him, no matter what.
It was evident once again at the trailer launch of Prem Ratan... today.
While he was bombarded with the usual, unoriginal questions - How did it feel to reunite with Sooraj Barjatya after so many years? How was it working with Sonam Kapoor? - he wouldn't be let off without being asked about the 'difficult times' in his life.
Yes, references of his ongoing court cases - the 2002 hit-and-run case as well as the blackbuck case - were made at the event.
Salman, however, was composed and gave a mature reply to the question. He said, "Whenever I'm going through such times in my life, my work in my films is that much better. I have gone through difficult times and I'll keep going through them. That's my share of karma."
Remember Salim Khan, in an exclusive interview to SpotboyE, had opened up on how the trial had deeply affected the entire family (I felt guilty eating food when Salman was in jail, June 7).
Clearly, it has left as much of an impact on Salman too. After all, these are some wise words coming from the actor!
