That's what his cellmate Mahesh Saini reveals, besides nine other things about the actor regarding his jail stay in 2006.
Sensationalism sells. That's what producer Ranjeet Sharma believes. Else why would he make a film on Salman Khan's blackbuck case?
Sharma has even cast Mahesh Saini who shared a cell with Salman! Saini plays himself!
During Salman's 72-hour stay in prison, he was listed as Qaidi No 210. Sharma has even named the film as Qaidi No 210!
SpotboyE.com caught up with Saini at Filmistan Studios (Goregaon) where he has started shooting for the film.
The man was in a mood to talk and rattled off ten things that happened during Salman's 4-day stint in jail.
Salman's cellmate claimed:
1. The first thing Salman did after entering the cell is hard to believe. He flew into a rage seeing that there were posters of actors like Saif Ali Khan and Govinda on the wall and asked Mahesh to remove them.
2. Salman missed his mother (Salma) a lot. A couple of times while remembering her, he got very emotional.
3. Salman is not a tea person. In the morning he asked for coffee which wasn't provided. Mahesh arranged for it but Salman told him: "Aisi coffee nahi peeta main. Tu sirf paani garam karke la. Phir main banata hoon." And then he made black coffee. He loved having black coffee at regular intervals.
4. Salman wasn't eating anything. He didn't want to have the jail food. Mahesh, who was allowed to cook his own food, made soyabeans for Salman. The jail authorities came to know and Mahesh was punished.
5. Salman played carrom with Mahesh. He lost the first two games and told Mahesh: "Star ko hara raha hai tu. Sharm nahi aati?" And Mahesh let him win the next game.
6. After few games, Salman got bored of carrom. Mahesh then got chess and tried to teach him how to play. But Salman didn't enjoy it and gave up.
7. There was only one TV set for the prisoners. Salman asked Mahesh if he could donate some money so that they could have more TV sets in jail. But the law didn't allow.
8. Salman also expressed his wish to pay Mahesh's penalty which was Rs 50,000. Again the law didn't allow him.
9. While leaving, he gave his clothes to Mahesh and asked for Mahesh's vest. Mahesh told him: "This vest is dirty, let me give you another one." Salman cut that vest from below and wore it. When Mahesh asked him why he cut it, Salman replied: "Yeh Salman ka style hai."
10. Salman was also very upset to see that several prisoners were languishing in jail simply because they didn't have money to pay off their penalties.
