Ronit Roy Recalls Salman Khan Being Very Upset With Him! Says, Didn’t ‘Want To Hurt My Childhood Friend’
Ronit Roy shared that Salman Khan was upset with him over something, he didn’t clarify what it was, but added that Salman has now forgiven him
Salman Khan is one of the most influential stars in the film industry and he as been a dominant force in Bollywood, who has delivered numerous box-office hits. On multiple occasions, his co-stars have praised the superstar, and his childhood friend Ronit Roy has now heaped praises over the actor.
Ronit Roy is all set to feature in the upcoming film ‘Farrey’, which is produced by Salman Khan. In a recent interaction, the actor discussed his close relationship with a Bollywood star, emphasizing their deep bond that developed as they ‘grew up together’.
The Udaan actor further added that Salman was upset with him over something, he didn’t clarify what it was, but added that Salman has now forgiven him.
Speaking to Lehren Retro, Rohit was asked about his bond with Tiger 3 star as Salman Khan shares a warm friendship with Ronit’s younger brother Rohit Roy. The actor said that his bond with Salman was “much deeper” and shared, “We grew up together, a few times we struggled together. He was very naraaz (upset) with me for something.”
Ronit said that he could not remember the incident but since Salman was quite upset, he clarified it with him. “I don’t want to hurt my friend, he is my childhood friend,” he said.
The Adaalat actor shared that the “best thing about him (Salman Khan) is he doesn’t let anybody know, he just quietly does,” and added, “If I ever need anybody, I’ll call him. He’ll be there.”
He further said that Salman has “an elephant’s memory” and “people don’t know how intelligent he is”.
Previously, during his interaction with Siddharth Kannan, Rohit shared an incident where Salman Khan called him a ‘fat cow’ and how the conversation with the actor led to his ‘physical metamorphosis.’
Rohit said, “I had put on a lot of weight, I was getting frustrated because things were not working out.” He then shared, “I told Salman that I’m not happy. I’m trying my best but things are not happening and he looked at me and said you look like a fat cow, even I wouldn’t give you any work.”
Rohit shared that he and Salman had a long chat and “everything he shared with me that day led to my complete metamorphosis physically. I was 45-46 and I decided that before I touch 50, I want to be the sexiest 50 year old and it happened”.
