Rohit Roy Gets Candid And Confesses He Didn't Focus On His Career; Says Stardom Got To His Head As People Told Him He Could Beat Shah Rukh Khan

Rohit Roy is one of the well-known names in the film as well as Television industry. He has been a part of many big films such as Kaabil, Shootout at Lokhandwala, and others. He has been a part of many popular television shows too like Viraasat, Swabhimaan, and others. However, in his recent interview, the actor opened up on how he did not pay much attention to his acting career and that stardom got to his head in the initial days. He even spoke on comparisons to Shah Rukh Khan.
To Navbharat Times.com, Rohit Roy got candid and confessed that he took his career for granted and that nothing he did was planned. He stated that he handled his career with carelessness as in the past, whatever he used to do, whichever character he used to play, used to become a hit. He candidly stated that name and fame got to his head, and whatever happened to his career later on, was his mistake.
Rohit Roy then went on to say that people used to compare him to Shah Rukh Khan and say that he will put SRK's career to rest. He was talking about the year 1992 when Shah Rukh Khan's Deewana released. However, that did not happen, and Rohit Roy takes the blame for it.
Further, the actor also stated that now whatever he does, he does it with dedication. Rohit Roy also shared that he now advises young stars to focus on their work and do it diligently, based on his own experience.
