Rishi Kapoor Thinks Actors Should Build Minds And Not Bodies Like Ranveer-Vicky-Ranbir, Says ‘None Of Them Have Dole Shole’
Rishi Kapoor who is currently back in Indian opened up about what he thinks young actors should focus on. Sharing a piece of advice for young actors, Kapoor thinks they should focus on building minds and not focus on building dole whole just like Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranbir Kapoor
Rishi Kapoor has carved his niche in Bollywood and the actor has been winning hearts for decades. Although his age, Kapoor is gearing up for his upcoming flick ‘The Body’ and is managing to impress us with his stellar performances. Rishi Kapoor marked his debut into Bollywood with 1970 film Mera Naam Joker and instantly garnered a lot of fame and acclaim for his performance. While the actor has risen up to fame from being a child actor to a renowned artiste, Kapoor believes that he has managed to stick to time as he practices building his mind as an actor as not his body.
Rishi Kapoor is back in town and the actor surely doesn’t seem to want to rest at all. From gearing up for his upcoming project ‘The Body’ to attending vacations and making appearances at parties, Kapoor is doing it all. According to an IANS report, Rishi Kapoor shared a piece of advice for the building young actors. Speaking with the news service, Kapoor shared that young actors should focus on emotional exercise than building muscles, which is very important for an actor. The actor shared how these days, young actors are more interested in grooming and building their bodies. Rishi Kapoor shared that one must build your mind rather than your body when you prepare for acting and mentioned that if you have the acting skill, you will definitely become an actor and if you don’t have that, you are replaceable. Talking about himself, Kapoor explained how he does not have a body, but he is still working as an actor because, in every film, he tries to create a character. Rishi Kapoor then added after a pause that he agrees he may be old, and might not inspire youngsters, but mentioned about Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranbir Kapoor not having ‘dole-shole’ i.e muscles. Kapoor then went on to share that with muscles, a person will never become an actor. He went on to add, that hitting it hard in the gym, won’t ensure you will be an artist and explained that one will only end up wasting money.
Meanwhile, ‘The Body’ actor also praised Amitabh Bachchan and explained how he is the original angry young man of Hindi cinema who rose to fame with his acting skills and stellar performances without having muscles.
Rishi Kapoor’s ‘The Body’ also stars Emraan Hashmi and Shobita Dhulipala and the teaser of the film was recently released after the first poster.
