Late actor Rishi Kapoor was one of the rare celebs whose Twitter account provided quite the source of entertainment for everyone. It has been almost a year since Rishi Kapoor passed away after his battle against cancer. The veteran actor breathed his last on April 30, 2020. He was well known for his witty humour and sometimes even controversial tweets. Not one to mince his words, the veteran actor would often put forth his point of view in fearless, brutally honest and sassy tweets.

During the Coronavirus lockdown last year, Rishi Kapoor had suggested that liquor stores should open every day for a few hours. He engaged with his fans as well as tweeted on some controversial topics. On March 28 last year, Rishi Kapoor had suggested that the government should keep licensed liquor stores open for a few hours. He had tweeted, “Think. Government should for sometime in the evening open all licensed liquor stores. Don’t get me wrong. Man will be at home only what with all this depression, uncertainty around. Cops,doctors,civilians etc... need some release. Black mein to sell ho hi raha hai.”
