Neetu Kapoor On Rishi Kapoor’s Battle With Cancer: “He Became Like My Child"
It was in the month of September last year that Rishi Kapoor, along with wife Neetu Kapoor, jetted off to the New York City to undergo treatment for an undisclosed illness. Months later, it was revealed that the Bobby actor has been diagnosed with cancer, leaving all his fans shocked and in concern. However, with things taking a bright turn, Rishi Kapoor recovered well and got rid of the deadly disease in April this year. For the same, he leaves no chance to thank Neetu Kapoor for all her undying support. 

In a conversation with Times Now, the Kapoor & Sons actor opened up on his journey with cancer and also expressed his gratitude to Neetu, as according to him, it wouldn’t have been possible without Neetu. “She has been a rock of Gibraltar, really really supported me without her I wouldn't be not getting anywhere,” said Rishi Kapoor.


Neetu Kapoor, on the other hand, revealed how Rishi Kapoor became like her ‘child’ and that she did everything in her capacity, so that he could be free of all the suffering and pain, “It's like I told you he became like my child and I wanted to do everything in my power that he should not be in pain, he should get whatever he wants."
 
In the past, Rishi Kapoor revealed that misses Mumbai and also expressed his desire of coming back to India before Ganesh Chaturthi, so that he can celebrate the festivities with his family. We can’t wait to welcome you back, Rishi!
