Much to everyone’s shock and dismay, Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away this morning. After fighting a valiant battle against leukemia for two long years, Rishi Kapoor left us at 67 in a Mumbai hospital. As Rishi Kapoor’s soul has left for his heavenly abode, Sanjay Dutt took to his social media to pen down a heartfelt note paying tribute to the veteran actor. On Instagram, Sanjay Dutt shared a heartfelt note expressing his grief and captioned it, “I will miss you Chintu sir.” The note reads, “Dear Chintu Sir, You have always been an inspiration to me throughout my life and career. You have taught me to live life to the fullest and to face life even when I was going through my low days. I had the honour to work with you in many films where you always guided me. Your fight against cancer has been long. But you never made me feel once that you were suffering even when I spoke to you in New York... even at that time you were so full of life.”
After talking about how much Rishi Kapoor helped him in highs and lows and looked out for him, Sanjay Dutt then mentioned the last he met the veteran actor. Talking about the last time he met Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt shared how the veteran actor was very concerned about him even then, Dutt mentioned that Rishi Kapoor always cared for him, and today is the saddest day as he as lost a family member, a friend, a brother and a person who showed him to live life with a smile no matter what. Finally concluding his long note, Dutt wrote, “I will miss you Chintu sir. May God always bless you and may you always be happy in heaven. I love you Chintu sir. Always will.”
Meanwhile, as Sanjay Dutt prayed for God to shower his blessings upon Rishi Kapoor’s departed soul, the actor also wished that the veteran actor is happy in heaven and mentioned he loves him. On the other hand, the Kapoor family, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Adaar Jain visited the hospital lately, to pay their last rites to Rishi Kapoor.
