Rishi Kapoor Passes Away: Saira Banu Pens Heartfelt Note, ‘Rishi Always Kept Dilip Kumar And Raj Kapoor’s Bond Alive’

Condolence messages and tributes continue to pour in for Rishi Kapoor. The veteran actor, who breathed his last yesterday morning at 8:45 AM, lost 2-year-long battled against Leukemia. The veteran actor was 67 and is survived by wife Neetu Singh, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor. His daughter Riddhima, who couldn’t be a part of her father’s last rites, was stuck in Delhi and left for Mumbai this morning after she was granted permission to travel. As many of Rishi Kapoor’s colleagues continue to remember the actor, legendary actor Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu too have paid their condolences to the bereaved family.
Taking to Dilip Kumar’s Twitter handle, Saira Banu tweeted the message. It read, “Met loving #RishiKapoor hale and hearty recently.He always made it a point to affectionately come personally in our old traditional ways to give any invitation to family functions. Rishi always kept in touch n kept alive the bond of Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor. RIP” SairaBanuKhan.” In her tweet, she mentioned that the late actor Rishi Kapoor always kept his later father Raj Kapoor’s and Dilip Kumar’s bond alive.
Last night, Shah Rukh Khan, who has worked the veteran actor in Deewana, shared heartfelt condolences for Kapoor family. SRK spoke about his bond with Rishi Kapoor in the lengthy note.

On the first day of the shoot, he sat for my scene to finish after pack up, then with that famously radiant smile on his face he said 'yaar tujhme energy bahut hai!'.
