Rishi Kapoor Death: Shah Rukh Khan Remembers His Deewana Co-Star; Credits Him For Making Him Who He Is Today
Rishi Kapoor was one of the most extraordinary actors of the Hindi film industry. He always had a smile on his face and was full of energy throughout his career. Not only that, but he was also instrumental in guiding a lot of newcomers and actors in the industry in his own special ways and always encouraged new talent. The King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan was one of them. Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media and mourned the loss of the veteran actor, and shared heartfelt condolences to his family.

In his Instagram post, Shah Rukh Khan shared a picture of a lengthy heartfelt note and a throwback picture of him and Rishi Kapoor. In his note, Shah Rukh wrote, “As a young man entering the daunting world of films, I was insecure about the way I looked and afraid that I was not talented enough. The thought of failing meant nothing though, because even if I failed, I would have worked with the greatest actor I knew of - Rishi Sahib. On the first day of the shoot, he sat for my scene to finish after pack up, then with that famously radiant smile on his face he said 'yaar tujhme energy bahut hai!'. That day in my head I became an actor!”

He further wrote, 'I will miss him for his gentle pat on my head every time we met. I will keep it in my heart always, as the 'Ashirwaad' that made me who I am today. Will miss you, sir, with love, gratitude, and immense respect...forever.”

Sharing the post, Shah Rukh Khan captioned it, “Heartfelt condolences to the Kapoor khandaan. May Allah give you all the strength to deal with your loss.”
