Rimi Sen Looks ‘Unrecognisable’ Now; Netizens Express SHOCK As New Photos Surface, Say, ‘Achhi Khasi Surat Ko Bigad Diya’
Rimi Sen’s recent pictures have surfaced on the internet which has left netizens shocked at how unrecognisable she looks
Bollywood actress Rimi Sen was one of the most successful and sought-after actresses in the Hindi entertainment industry during the early 2000s. Having starred in some of the classic comedies of the decade, the dusky beauty was lauded for her performances, comic timing, expressions, and her chemistry with her co-stars. However, she soon disappeared from Bollywood due to a lack of good movie opportunities. A Reddit user recently took to the social media platform to share her current photos which sparked ‘crazy plastic surgery’ speculations.
Taking to the subreddit Bolly Blinds N Gossip, a netizen revealed that they were watching Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal and they ended up on her Instagram handle. The post and several comments under the post claimed that the actress underwent plastic surgery to enhance her looks. The photos were shared with the caption, “Oh God! I am shocked. Rimmi Sen looks so weird with her recent plastic surgery. Her photos at least since last few months was okay but I was recently watching Golmaal and ended up in her Instagram profile. She looks unrecognisable! I am appalled.”
As soon as the photos were posted on the subreddit, netizens took to the comment section to react to it. While many compared her new looks to Shefali Jariwala and Nikki Tamboli, others reminisced about how her peers Manissha Lamba and Koena Mitra also ruined their pretty faces due to botched facial surgeries. One wrote, “How come they all look same… their doctor doesn’t provide catalog of different faces … the way old school hair salon used to have or nail bar provides a samples of so many nails to chose from… looks like all the cakes are baked in same mould.” Another wrote, “Rich people creating their own problems. Achhi khasi surat ko kyun bigad diya. It's not like she was even working in movies anymore and felt the pressure to do it.”
During a recent interview with HT City, when the 42-year-old actress opened up about her decision to stay under the radar. She expressed how she was tired of working in comedy film and not much was being offered to her at that time. Quoted by the Hindustan Times, she further added, “Mera sirf furniture role hota tha. I had a good role in only a few, like Hungama and Johnny Gaddaar (2007). The latter didn't work, and that's the kind of work I wanted to do.”

For those who don’t remember, Rimi Sen has starred in many movies like Baghban (2003), Dhoom (2004), Garam Masala (2005), Phir Hera Pheri (2006), Golmaal: Fun Unlimited (2006), and many others. She was last seen participating in Bigg Boss in 2015, before disappearing from the industry.
