Rhea Chakraborty's Lawyer Reacts To SC's Decision Of CBI Probe In Sushant Singh Rajput's Death; Says 'Rhea Will Face The Investigation'
Post the Supreme Court's order of CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde has said that the actress will appear and face the investigation
Today, the Supreme Court ruled out in the favour of Sushant Singh Rajput's family. After late actor's father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty reportedly accusing her of abetment of suicide and more, she filed a plea in Supreme Court seeking transfer of the FIR to Mumbai Police. Now, the case is in the hands of the Central bureau of Investigation. Post the verdict, Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde has said that the actress will cooperate and appear for the investigation.
News agency ANI has quoted Satish Maneshinde saying, "SC after examining the facts and circumstances of the case and the report of the Mumbai Police has observed that it will be the desired justice as Rhea herself called for a CBI investigation." Further he said that Rhea's truth will remain the same no matter who is investigating. "Rhea will appear and face the investigation by the CBI as she has done earlier with the Mumbai Police and the Enforcement Directorate. She maintains that the truth will remain the same whichever agency investigates the case," said the lawyer.
On the other side, Sushant Singh Rajput's family's lawyer Vikas Singh called the Supreme Court's decision a 'historic' one. SC has also ordered Mumbai Police to cooperate with CBI in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. It was the Bihar Government who had requested the centre to launch a CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
