During her discussion at the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2023, Rhea Chakraborty addressed her incarceration experience. She also shared the emotional moment when she was granted bail but learned that her brother, Showik, had not been released, leading to her complete emotional breakdown.Rhea revealed that she had made a promise to her fellow inmates that she would celebrate with a joyful dance when she was granted bail. Initially, she hesitated to fulfill this promise on her last day in jail because she wasn't feeling happy. However, she had a realization that she might never see those women again in her life, and so she decided to provide them with five minutes of happiness by performing a dance. The actress recalled her tough days in Prison and said, "Jail can’t be easy. It is interesting because you are removed from society and you are no longer a part of it. You are put in this place because you are no longer fit to be in society for whatever reason you are deemed to be unfit. You are no longer a person, you start viewing yourself as nothing." Rhea Chakraborty marked her return to the screen by joining the cast of MTV Roadies Season 19 as one of the Gang Leaders.
