Ravi Kishan Reacts On Receiving Threats For Raising Questions On 'Drug Abuse In Bollywood', ‘I Can Take Bullets’
Bollywood actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, Ravi Kishan recently expressed his views about the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood in the Parliament. For his statements against the film industry, Ravi Kishan got slammed by several Bollywood celebrities, including Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan. Now, Ravi Kishan opens up about the major backlash he has been facing for speaking up about the alleged drug use in the film industry and also shared how he has been ousted by filmmakers for upcoming projects. Speaking with ANI, Ravi Kishan said that he is unfazed by the alleged threats on his life, that he is receiving, and mentioned how he will give appropriate responses to his critics when the right time comes. The Gorakhpur MP said, “I'll speak at the right time. I've raised my voice for youths & future of film industry. I didn't think about my life. Desh ke bhavishya ke liye 2-5 goli bhi kha lenge, to koi chinta nahi hai.” Ravi Kishan claims that he would take 2-5 bullets for the country’s future, if a life-threatening situation comes, asserting he is ready to to sacrifice his life for the country.  

Talking about his ‘cancelled’ projects, the Batla House actor revealed that the dates were finalized but suddenly he was informed that the films he was doing won’t be produced. He continued, “I haven't probed into the exact reason for this but it is weird that I have lost two projects in a day. One was a web series and another was a film project.”


Meanwhile, it was during the recently concluded Monsoon session of Parliament where Lok Sabha member Ravi Kishan spoke against the film industry, reflecting on the ongoing probe in the alleged use of drugs in Bollywood, following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
