Actor Ravi Kishan is all set to impress the audience with his comic timing in Kiran Rao’s upcoming movie Laapataa Ladies. Essaying the role of a police officer trying to find the whereabouts of a lost bride, he recently went down the memory lane and recalled working with Salman Khan in Tere Naam. The actor, who portrayed the role of a priest in the Satish Kaushik directorial, opened up about working in the film and how he would maintain distance from Khan on set.

In an interview with Lallantop, the 54-year-old actor was asked about Salman’s behaviour during the shoot of Tere Naam, since the latter was “going through a tough time in his personal life.” Talking about the same, Kishan pointed out that artists are moody by nature and he likes to gice his co-stars spacer when they aren’t feeling upbeat. Quoted by Pinkvilla, he said, “On the set of Tere Naam, I would give him space. That character (Radhe) was intense. That’s how Satish Kaushik ji (director) wanted it. Salman was probably lost in the character too. I would stay away from him on the set.”

He went on to add how he would then meet up with Salman Khan after the filming of the movie was done which helped in developing their friendship. They would often meet for dinners and other activities after they finished shooting for the day. And he was a superstar.”

The actor went on to add, “After watching the film, our friendship grew because that’s when he saw what kind of actor I am. We are still friends. We talk on the phone also. He is a lovely soul.”
