Raveena Tandon’s old interview where she spoke about her cars resurfaces amid her rash driving case
Actress Ranveena Tandon rose to fame and became a household name with her versatile performance during the 90s. Having aged like fine wine, she has making waves yet again for her shows and movies. The actress recently found herself and her driver embroiled in controversy for rash driving. They made the headlines for their reckless driving and hurting three women including an old woman. Well, the recent reports state that the ‘victims’ falsely accused the actress after police officials found CCTV footage of the entire incident.
Amidst all the reports and ongoing controversy, an old interview of Tandon takling about her cars has surfaced on the internet. During an interview with Ranvijay Singha for ‘Carkhana,’ she recalled how she purchase her first car, a secondhand sports vehicle at the age of 18 with her first paycheck. She went on to add, “It was a gift to myself. And my first new car after that was the Maruti 1000. The 49-year-old actress took a trip down the memory lane and revealed that her family has a tradition of purchasing automobiles during specific holidays and auspicious occasion. She also shared how all the number plates of her cars have the same nameplate, the numbers always add upto 16, her daughter’s birth date. The Patna Shukla actress recalled, “Humare yahan always shubh din pe hi gaadi kharidi jaati hai. It’s not a numeric date, but yes, all our vehicles have the same nameplate as they all are on my daughter’s birth date. All our cars are on the same date. It’s not exactly 16, but all of them are a particular number which adds up to 16. So, we ask for such nameplate numbers.”
On the work front, Raveena Tandon was last seen in the web shows Karmma Calling and Patna Shukla.
