Rashmika Mandanna has been on the receiving end as she has been targeted by trolls
Rashmika Mandanna has been scaling great heights following the success of Pushpa: The Rise. She has been shelling out back to back hits, and she is currently basking in the success of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu and is now gearing up for her Bollywood venture which is Mission Majnu. However, apart from her acting prowerrs, she has also emerged as the national crush for her gorgeous looks and charming personality.
But, at the same time, the actress has been on the receiving end as she has been targeted by trolls. Amid the same, her personal life has also been in discussion, considering her dating life or her statements. Rashmika Mandanna has reacted to the same in a recent interview with Hindustan Times.
“At the end of the day, we are entertainers. We do films to entertain people. That is the core reason why we got into the creative field. As you said, it entirely depends on how the audience perceives your work. At the same time, it’s a little more than that because people are seeing us everywhere, and people love us for who we are. That is the beauty of our generation. You do a good film, people applaud you. If you do a not-so-good film, people are like what did you do? Our life doesn’t stop at one film. It’s a journey,” Rashmika said in a recent interview with Hindustan Times.
Talking to HT, Rashmika was asked about the discussion of her personal life and if she affects or annoys her. Rashmika seems pretty chilled about it saying that they are public figures and that they don't have control over what others think. "We can't control your minds," she added while saying that they cannot ask people to only talk about their work.
Rashmika adds that it is because people find the celebrities relatable and they become the talk of the town.
She also went on to point out that she isn’t bothered about the positive and negative things and quipped that at the end of the day, people at least speak about her. She maintained that it's the love and curiosity that keeps her going.
Earlier in 2022, Rashmika posted a note on the negativity and trolling. The actor said that she is an entertainer and that they do films to entertain people. The Dear Comrade star also added that it entirely depends on the audience perceives one's work.
She also asserted that the audience will laud you when you do good work and when you do good work and when you don't do good work, they would question you as well. Rashmika says that an artist's life doesn't stop at one film and adds that it's a journey.
