Ever since its premiere, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan season 8 has taken on the internet. Fans are going gaga over Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s candid confessions about their relationship and their wedding. The first episode of the new season has certainly become the talk of the town with netizens hailing the actors for complementing each other so well. Amidst it all an old video clip of Ranveer from the previous seasons of the show has gone viral where he described his first meet-up with Anushka Sharma and it sounds similar to the way he recalled meeting his wife.
In the clip that is currently going viral on social media, Ranveer is seen explaining how he first met Anushka Sharma at the YRF’s office. As soon as the heavy doors of the office opened he was greeted by a gush of wind and he saw his Band Baaja Baarat co-star sitting there. For those who don’t know, recalling his first meeting with his wife at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office he shared a similar experience. He shared how she entered the office looking as angelic as ever in her white kurta, with the sea wind blowing her hair. Well, as soon as the edited clip went viral on social media, netizens quickly took to the internet to condemn him for the same. For the unversed, the couple fell in love with each other while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there.
On the work front, last seen in Karan Johar’s comeback directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. He also has Singham 3 and Don 3 in his pipeline. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter and Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD in he pipeline. She had recently made the headlines for entering Rohit Shetty’s cop-universe as Shakti Shetty.
