Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jhanvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan Celebrate Padmavati With Deepika Padukone
A bevy of celebrities gathered at Deepika Padukone’s house last night to celebrate the overwhelming response to Padmavati trailer and first song, Ghoomar
Deepika Padukone held a special party last for the over whelming response to
the Padmavati trailer and Ghoomar – the film’s first song. From Alia Bhatt,
Jhanvi Kapoor, Gauri Khan, Sara Ali Khan to Abhishek Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha,
Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Ishaan Khattar, Manish Malhotra and Ranveer Singh; the
who’s who of Bollywood was present at the bash.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films have always been larger than life but Padmavati
is his biggest project so far. With 2017 being a rather inconsistent year in
terms of box-office business, it can be safely said that the expectations from
the Deepika Padukone-Shahid Kapoor-Ranveer Singh starrer are huge.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Deepika is grinning from ear to ear for the
appreciation coming her way and wanted to celebrate with loved ones. It is also
said that even at SRK birthday bash at Alibaug, the constant chatter was around
how she needs to celebrate the film.
You may recall,
Alia, in a podcast, had confessed that she was in awe of Deepika in Padmavati.
“Deepika as Padmavati was just so fabulous and she just looked so fabulous and
I know I can never look like that or act like that. She just looks like a
queen."
Soon after,
Deepika responded by writing a letter to Alia, mentioning that she's her
biggest fan.
Dear Alia,
Highway mein tum bina makeup ki bhi khoobsurat lagi,
Lekin road par bitaye woh 52 mushkil din, kissi ko nazar nahi aaye,
Alia tum ho sabse chotti, par mehnat karne mein sabse badi.
Your biggest fan,
Deepika
Padmavati will hit theatres on December 1,
2017.
