Actress Rani Mukerji turned 44 on Monday, 21st March and she celebrated her special day with her family and close friends from Bollywood. The actress partied hard with Karan Johar, actor Anil Kapoor, choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra, casting director Shanoo Sharma and others. Several photos from the bash have surfaced online and it showed Rani had a blast. Notably, Rani’s doting husband Aditya Chopra pampered her with ice cream ahead of the party.

Giving a sneak-peek into it, Manish posted a couple of photos wherein Rani was seen striking happy poses alongside her friends. The designer also shared a selfie of him with the actress and wrote, “Happy Birthday dearest @ranimukherjee.” While the Mardani actress looked elegant in a lime green dress with a beautiful neckpiece, Manish sported a black outfit. In another picture, Manish posed with KJo and Vaibhavi. He also dropped a candid selfie with Anil where both twinned in black outfits. The post was captioned, “The best always @anilskapoor.”

Needless to say, Rani shares a great bond of friendship with both Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor. KJo had directed his first movie 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' which also starred Rani alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The movie earned Rani stardom and several accolades for her brilliant performance. 
Anil and Rani had starred together in 2001 released ‘Nayak: The Real Hero’.

On her 44th birthday, Rani Mukerji opened up about her journey in the film industry. She said, “It has been an exhilarating journey in cinema so far for me and I hope that it remains the same in the years to come. I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with some of the best minds in the form of directors, producers, actors and technicians who have pushed me to excel on-screen and reinvent myself every single time. I always knew that my journey will be tough but I sailed through the last 25 years with the audience’s love by my side and my hard work and perseverance.”

Rani was last seen in 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' with Saif Ali Khan. The movie was a sequel to her 2005 blockbuster movie of the same title and It was released last year.
