Rani Mukerji Opens About Pap Culture In India, Says ‘I'm Adira's Paparazzi’
Following Gauri Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, actress Rani Mukerji opens up about the paparazzi culture in India. In the recent past, when star mommies revealed of the paps invading into their kids’ space, getting them worried the Mardaani 2 actress presented a different perspective on it.  Though she touched upon on the similar points, till continued to thanks paps for certain decorum, they have maintained towards her and her daughter Adira.  Just like the other star couples, Rani and Aditya Chopra too want their daughter to have a normal childhood and revealed having worked towards it.

All the above said, was shared by the Hitchki actress, during her conversation with an entertainment portal, Pinkvilla she said, “I'm Adira's paparazzi, I'm constantly clicking her. I'm with the camera constantly. So I can't not like the paparazzi because I'm one myself for my daughter. I think it's a very personal decision when parents come and talk about their children. I was very clear, so was Adi, that Adira needs to have a very normal upbringing and that can only happen when the attention is not completely focussed on her and she isn't in the limelight." She further also added of Adira and other star kids in town, being born in families connected to the entertainment business, automatically become famous, but it does have its pros and cons. However, protecting them is solely the parents decision. "We can't deny that she automatically becomes known because she's born in a family where her parents are known. That becomes an advantage or a disadvantage that goes with it. But still, as much as we can, we try. I hope I try and protect her as much as I can,” she said.

Unlike other star parents, who have at times lost their cool on the pap, Rani revealed of being thankful to them for allowing her to have her space, by not clicking her daughter on several instances.

The actress said, "At least in my case, the paparazzi has been very very helpful and understanding. Everywhere I go, when I request them, they are super supportive and they don't take Adira's pictures. I don't think we have such paparazzi anywhere in the world like we do in India. I have been lucky that way."
