Rani Got Pregnant; And It Was Not Kajol, But Priyanka Who Was Offered Hichki
Priyanka Chopra and not Kajol dilly-dallied on Hichki so much that by then, Rani had finished her maternity break and was ready to return to the role which originally belonged to her...
There has been lot of
speculation in the media that Kajol was offered the role played by Rani Mukerji
in the upcoming film Hichki.
Well, it is not. Hichki was NEVER offered to Kajol.
Hichki was offered to Priyanka Chopra.

But mind you, Rani was always the FIRST CHOICE for this
Maneesh Sharma film.
It so happened that Rani got pregnant with Adira and then
decided to go on a longish break. Maneesh spoke to Priyanka who showed
sufficient interest but somehow never locked the dates- whether it was for her
other assignments or some other reason.
Finally when Rani decided that she is returning to
movies, Maneesh decided to ask her if she was now keen to get into this.

And Rani immediately said, 'Yes, why not?'
Hichki has given Rani yet another challenging role, which
she loved sinking her teeth into.
Rani plays a teacher having Tourette syndrome. The film's
trailer was launched on December 19, 2017 and was attached to the movie Tiger
Zinda Hai. It has garnered huge praises from the janta and industry both. 
Kajol
The music of Hichki is composed by Jasleen Royal. The
lyrics have been penned by Raj Shekhar, Jaideeep Sahni, Neeraj Rajawat, Aditya
Sharma, David Klyton. The music album of the film features 7 tracks and was
released by Yash Raj Music on 20 February 2018.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, Hichki hits theatres on March
23, 2018.
