Ranbir Kapoor's Next With Kabir Singh Director Sandeep Vanga Titled 'Devil'?
After the twin success of Arjun Reddy in Telugu and its Bollywood remake Kabir Singh, director Sandeep Vanga was flooded with several offers from Bollywood as well as down South. Zeroing down on a dark crime thriller titled Devil, the director will mark his first-ever original Bollywood venture on the celluloid. Yet another milestone in his directorial venture is roping of the ace actor Ranbir Kapoor for the same. Sandeep had narrated this dark crime thriller to Ranbir and he apparently liked it, agreeing to be part of it. However, so far no official confirmation has come from either of them.

It will showcase Ranbir in grey shades onscreen; also before narrating it to RK, the director had approached one of the most celebrated actors of the South film industry, Mahesh Babu. However, the actor felt that the film was too dark for him, hence suggested the director come up with something else. Thus, Sandeep remaining firm on his decision approached Ranbir. According to BollywoodHungama.com, the director claims this is to be the darkest role RK would be playing on the celluloid, if everything falls in place for the actor-director duo.
Currently, the actor has been spending time with his family, as his father-veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor is in back in town post his cancer treatment in the USA. Senior Kapoor was away from India for almost a year, as a result, many Bollywood actors paid the veteran a visit as they flew to NYC in between Sept. 2018 to Sept. 2019.

Ranbir currently has director Ayan Mukerji’ Brahmastra opposite Alia Bhatt in the pipeline followed by Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera opposite Vaani Kapoor.
