Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has made a name for himself in the Hindi film industry with his versatile performances and charming presence. While he is often showered with love and admiration for his dedication towards his films, he also faces the wrath of the netizens. Ranbir recently appeared in Nikhil Kamath’s podcast and opened up about the time he dated “two very successful actresses,” referring to his failed relationships with Deepika and Katrina. He expressed how parting ways from them had hampered his image as people labelled him as a ‘cheater’ and a ‘casanova,’ after their break up. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, the 41-year-old actor said, “I dated two very successful actresses and that just became my identity that he is a casanova. I was labelled cheater for a very large part of my life and still, I am.” When asked if it bothered him or if he just didn’t care about the labels anymore, RK Jr just smiled off the question. Having been subjected to scrutiny from the audience, Neetu Kapoor and late actor Rishi Kapoor’s son revealed that he had sought therapy at one point in his life. However, he stated that it didn’t work out for him as he was very scared of opening up. Sharing the same with Kamat, the Animal actor said, “I have tried therapy. I have nothing against therapy, it’s just that I have to open myself up and I’m very scared of opening up.”

Talking about the Saawariya actor’s love life, he has been linked to many of his female co-stars over the years. Ranbir and Deepika fell in love in 2008, during the shoot of Bachna Ae Haseeno. As things were starting to get serious between them, they called off the relationship after Padukone reportedly caught him cheating on her with Katrina. RK and Kaif dated from 2010 to 2016. As fans were excited to see them tie the knot, they ended their relationship on an ugly note.

He went on to tie the knot to Alia Bhatt in 2022, after dating her for five years. They even welcomed their daughter Raha Kapoor in November of the same year. Even today, despite him being happily married to his wife, he is often linked to other actresses. 


On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-anticipated project Ramayan. He also has the sequel of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s blockbuster film Animal, Animal Park, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra franchise in his pipeline.
