Ranbir Kapoor Gets Candid About His Marriage With Alia Bhatt; Says ‘We Still Haven’t Realized That We Are Married’
Lovebirds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married in April this year, and the couple opted for a low-key wedding that was hosted at the actor’s Vastu house in Bandra. The wedding ceremony was attended by close friends and family members.

Although, soon after the wedding, the newlywed couple resumed work due to their commitments. Now, in a recent interview, Ranbir got candid about his marriage with Alia and admitted that the couple still hasn’t realised that they are married now.

Talking about his married life, Ranbir shared that they have been extremely busy since they got married. He also went on to add that there was no major change in their lives after marriage as they were together for five years.

"There was no such major change. We are together for five years. We thought that if we get married then we have done it, but we also had some commitments. The very next day of our marriage, we both left for work. Alia went on her shoot and I had also gone to Manali. When she comes back from London and my film ‘Shamshera’ releases, we are thinking of taking a week off. We still haven’t realized that we are married," Ranbir told Dainik Bhaskar.

After the wedding, both Ranbir and Alia jumped back into work. While Alia has jetted off to an undisclosed location for the shoot of her Hollywood debut project Heart of Stone, Ranbir flew to Manali for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming Bollywood biggie Animal.

Speaking about working in Hollywood films just like his wife, Ranbir shared that he has no intentions of working in the west. Ranbir added that he only has dreams of 'Brahmastra'.

He said, "I don’t have any dreams of Hollywood. I only have dreams of Brahmastra. I think original content that is in your culture and is entertaining can touch every audience. Otherwise, I am also very scared of auditions. I have never seen the success and dreams of Alia in anyone else. I am happy where I am."

Alia and Ranbir will be seen sharing the screen space in 'Brahmastra'. The trailer will be released on June 15. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film will release in September this year.
