Actor Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most discussed celebrities on the internet. From calling him a cheater and chauvinist to dissecting his ‘toxic’ marriage with his wife Alia Bhatt, he has been on the receiving end of criticism from all corners. Having made waves due to his film Animal, last year, he recently appeared on Nikhil Kamath’s podcast where he made some shocking revelations about his life. His unfiltered statements and takes have not gone down well with the netizens.

During the podcast, the 41-year-old actor shared that he believes in Sanatana Dharam. He expressed that he “went quite deep into what it is” after mentioning that he believes in God. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, he said, “I started believing a lot in the Sanatana Dharam. I think I started reading a lot about it in the last couple of years. I went quite deep into what it is, what the effects are. Well, it seems like this has not gone down well with the netizens as many took to their social media handle to remind him of his old interview where he confessed to eating beef. Others even speculated about the truth behind his statement as they thought it might be a way to promote his upcoming film Ramayan.
