Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been hogging all the limelight owing to their wedding speculations. Their rumoured marriage has been the talk of the town for a while now. As per the latest report, Alia and Ranbir, who have been dating for the past few years, will get married in an intimate ceremony in the second week of April. Yes, you read that right! Reportedly, Alia's maternal grandfather N Razdan is in a fragile physical condition and he wants the couple to get married soon.

According to an Etimes TV report, Alia’s grandfather likes Ranbir a lot, in fact, he is very fond of him. Thus, in view of his poor health, he wants both the actors to tie the knot this month. It is being said that Alia and Ranbir may exchange wedding vows on April 17 wedding. A source close to the Kapoor and Bhatt families was quoted as saying, “Alia's maternal grandfather N Razdan is in fragile physical condition and he expressed his desire to see Alia get married to Ranbir. The insider also added that although the final date for the wedding has not been confirmed, as things stand right now, Ranbir and Alia are planning for an April 17 wedding. However, there is a possibility that this date might get shifted by a day or two, depending on the health of Alia’s grandfather N Razdan.

Amidst their wedding news gaining momentum, Ranbir’s uncle Randhir Kapoor yesterday, denied all such wedding reports and asserted that he has no information about it. While on his way to Shirdi, he told Hindustan Times, “I’m not in Mumbai right now, and I haven’t heard anything about the wedding. If such a big wedding was happening at our house, somebody would have surely called me up and informed me.”
