Roka ceremony is a custom before the engagement followed mostly in the north of India. Where the would-be bride and groom's family bless the couple with shagun and teeka and announce to the society that they are taken. This traditionally indicates that no other family should approach the couple with prospective alliances.

Meanwhile, for the Roka ceremony, Rana is seen wearing a traditional south Indian attire which is a white shirt and a white lungi while Miheeka wore a gorgeous pink golden saree. The two held a private ceremony in the middle of Coronavirus lockdown.
