Rambo: Tiger Shroff Starrer To Be Directed By Varun Dhawan's Bro Rohit Dhawan; Filmmaker Replaces Siddharth Anand
In May 2017, Tiger Shroff got his fans jumping joy after he announced that he’s stepping into the shoes of Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone in the Indian remake of Rambo. Sharing the good news, Tiger had shared the first look poster alongside the caption that read, “Tiger took to social media to share the first poster of the film yesterday and captioned it, “Grew up on this character, humbled and blessed to step into his shoes years later. #RamboRemake.” The film was rumoured to be going on the floor from January 2020.  However a lot of things changed. War director Siddharth Anand got busy with writing a tale for Shah Rukh Khan.

Now, here the latest update about Tiger Shroff’s much delayed Rambo. Rambo is back on track but with a different director. As per a latest report in Mumbai Mirror, Rohit Dhawan has replaced Siddharth Anand and will now be directing Tiger’s Rambo. Confirming the same, a source close to the development revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “Rambo is Tiger’s baby and he is kicked about stepping into his idol Stallone’s shoes. After being put on the backburner for a while, the project is being revived with Rohit Dhawan as director.

“Rohit has already locked the script of his next commercial entertainer with Kartik and is expected to kickstart it around February. With some free time in his hand, the director has started work on the Rambo remake with his team of writers,” added the source.

Earlier speaking about Rambo, Tiger had said, “Being a martial artist and a huge action movie buff since childhood, this all seems very surreal, and I'm very grateful for this opportunity. By no means do I believe I can replace the legendary Sylvester Stallone; however, I do feel that somehow this is something I've been preparing for since childhood.”
