Ram Setu: Akshay Kumar, Nushratt Bharuccha And Jacqueline Fernandez Catch Up Via Conference Call; Nushratt Shares Screenshot Saying 'Together In Spirit'

It was recently that team Ram Setu kicked off its shooting. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Nushratt Bharuccha And Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. However, within a few days, the film hit the roadblock as Akshay Kumar tested positive for Coronavirus. Taking to his social media account, Akshay announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is in isolation. The next day he announced that he is in the hospital. Now, Nushratt Bharuccha has shared the screenshot of the conference call she had with Akshay and Jacqueline.

It seems like Nushratt, Akshay and Jacqueline have bonded really well in the past few days and through a conference call, they are checking on each other. Nushratt shared the screenshot showcasing her call with Akshay Sir and Jacqueline, and in caption, she wrote, "Checking up on each other! Far apart but together in spirit."

Revealing about his hospitalisation, Akshay had tweeted, "Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working , I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home soon. Take care."


Post the news of Akshay's diagnosis hit headlines, reports emerged that around 45 junior artistes who were going to join the cast and crew of Ram Setu have also tested positive for Coronavirus. The producers made it mandatory for everyone to undergo COVID-19 test before joining the team and out of 100 junior artiste, 45 reportedly tested positive.
