Rakesh Roshan Reveals Son Hrithik Roshan’s Struggle To Build His Physique; Shares, ‘Doctors Told Him Aap Dance Nahi Kar Sakte, Aapke Spinal Cord Mein Kuch Problem Hai’
Rakesh Roshan spoke about how his son, actor Hrithik Roshan took building his physique as a challenge after the doctors told him he couldn’t do it due to problems with his spinal cord
Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has often opened up about the struggles he had to face in his life. Being one of the most sought-after celebrities, he made his mark in the industry with his incredible physique, flawless dance moves and dangerous action sequences. However it was an incredibly difficult journey for him.
During his recent appearance on Indian Idol 13, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recalled a time when Hrithik was told by the doctors that he wouldn’t be able to build his physique.Roshan reminisced about the time when he had cast Hrithik in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai alongside Ameesha Patel. He explained how he was thinking about who to cast for his next project, when someone suggested he cast debutants as it was a romantic film. ALSO READ: WHAT! He went on to decide that his son could make his debut with the movie. He went on to add that since the actor had a lean and thin physique, the doctors had told him he made his body. Quoted by Hindustan Times, 73-year-old filmmaker went on to add, “Doctors told, ‘aap kabhi apni physique nahi bana sakte, aap dance nahi kar sakte kyunki aapke inherent kujh problem hai spinal cord mein'. But he challenged everything, he started exercising with books and slowly, slowly with books he came to dumbbells and dumbbells se usne fir ye sab apni physique banayi.”
On the work front, Hrithik was last seen in Vikram Vedha alongside Saif Ali Khan. He will be next seen in Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone, the movie is said to be Indian cinema’s first aerial action movie and will be directed by War director Siddharth Anand.
