Rajkummar Rao Visits National Police Academy; Thanks “True Heroes” Of Our Country
Seasoned actor Rajkummar Rao visited the National Police Academy, Hyderabad yesterday and while addressing the officers there stated that they are the real heroes of the nation
Rajkummar Rao has
to his credit several critically acclaimed films, most of which have been
relevant to our times. It's no wonder then that the star was invited to address
officers at the National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
The National
award winner flew to Hyderabad yesterday, to speak to the IPS officers on the
subject of discipline, civil ethic and personal sacrifice that the armed and
police forces make, owing to their line of duty and also to share his own
journey and experiences in the film industry.

Rajkummar said,
"It was a privilege to interact with the true heroes of our country. I
strongly believe that our security forces work tirelessly and selflessly for
us. I really wanted to thank them and there couldn’t be a better opportunity.”
The seasoned
actor will next be seen in Stree which also stars Shraddha Kapoor. Talking
about his role in the film, Rajkummar had told a section of the media,
"Getting into the space of a horror-comedy like Stree is quite interesting
yet challenging. Also, it was great to interact with the locals
of Chanderi to pick up their language nuances and mannerisms for my
character. It was a great learning exercise.”
Coming back to the story, we are sure Rajkummar will remember this experience for a long time to come.
