Raj Kundra Shares How He Exchanged Letters With Wife Shilpa Shetty During His Jail Sentence-DETAILS INSIDE

Raj Kundra has grabbed the spotlight as he gears up for his upcoming biopic, UT 69, and it captures experiences from his jail sentence. The film will mark Raj’s debut in acting and he recently made an appearance for the trailer launch of the same.

In a rather stirring development, Kundra shed off his infamous masked look and revealed his face yet again, at the trailer launch event of his upcoming debut biopic, UT 69. During the same, he mentioned how one of his friends approached him to document his jail sentence, based on the frequent diary notes that he used to write back then. Interestingly, the notes also included several letters from that were exchanged with his wifey, Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
The filmmaker-turned-actor said, “I said pura I am not gonna go through. Yeh, mere notes hai, aap padh lo. Aur saath mein letters bhi the – jo shilpa mujhe likha karti thi aur main unko. He came back after 3–40 days and said humne poori film bana di.”
During the same event, Raj also requested the media and press to ask questions about his biopic. Amid it all, he also urged the media to not drag his wife, Shilpa, and his kids, Viaan, and Samiksha into all the matters pertaining to his biopic, or the story of his jail sentence.

Since being granted bail in the pornographic case, Raj has opted for a low-key presence, often sporting a black mask during public appearances. The upcoming biopic is expected to offer his perspective on the matter. Shilpa and Raj have been married since 2009 and are proud parents to two children – a son named Viaan, born on May 21, and a daughter named Samisha, who came into the world in 2020 through surrogacy.
