According to the latest development in Raj Kundra’s pornography case, Mumbai Police Crime Branch has reportedly arrested four more persons. The Police confirmed the news to ANI and said, “a casting director and three others have been arrested from Versova and Borivali areas.” Shilpa Shetty’s businessman husband Raj was arrested in an alleged pornographic films case last year. After spending almost three months in judicial custody, he was released on bail in September.
Now, months after his bail release, four more arrests have been made in this connection. As per the Mid-Day report, of the four people arrested, three have been accused of raping an actress during a shoot of a web series. The report revealed a 29-year-old casting director named Naresh Ramavatar Pal, along with Salim Sayyed Abdul Sayed and Aman Barnwal, were arrested by the police. The accused were given Rs. 2,000 each to shoot this web series. Reportedly, Naresh Ramavatar Pal, accompanied by Salim, Abdul and Aman, had forcefully brought the actress to a bungalow in Madh in the name of the shoot. Meanwhile, Raj Kundra had issued a statement where he explained that he has never been involved in the production and distribution of ‘pornography’ ever in his life. An excerpt from his statement read, “I would like to start by stating that I have NEVER been involved in the production and distribution of ‘pornography’ EVER in my life. This whole episode has been nothing but a witch hunt. The matter is sub judice so I can not elucidate, but I am ready to face trial and have full faith in the judiciary, where the truth will prevail. The trolling, negativity and toxic public perception has been very debilitating. To set the record straight, I do not hide my face in shame, but wish that my privacy is not intruded anymore with this continued MEDIA TRIAL. My priority has always been my family, nothing else matters at this juncture.” ALSO READ: Shamita Shetty Opens Up About Brother-In-Law Raj Kundra’s Porn Films Racket Case, Reveals One Thing She Regrets The Most!
