Legendary filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli passed away on Friday leaving all of Bollywood heartbroken. Many celebrities expressed their condolences to the family members. Sonu Nigam was also seen attending the funeral of the legendary filmmaker. Son Armaan Kohli broke down during the funeral and many rushed to console him following the unfortunate demise of his father. Now, many videos and photos have been going viral on social media.
In a new viral video, Sonu Nigam stood by Armaan and they both were seen discussing something while Kohli broke down into tears. Fans rushed the comments section and wrote, Rest In Peace. As per the reports, the director had gone to take a shower on Friday morning when he didn’t come out of the bath for some time. Reportedly, his son Armaan broke the door when he found his father collapsed on the floor.
Raj was then rushed to a hospital and was later declared dead. Publicist and close friend of Arman, Vijay Grover confirmed the news.
The late filmmaker was known for several Bollywood films including Dulla Bhatti (1966) and Lootera (1970) which starred starring Dara Singh and Nishi in the lead. Some of his other popular movies were Nagin, Jaani Dushman, Badle Ki Aag, Naukar Biwi Ka and Raaj Tilak.
Rajkumar Kohli introduced his son Armaan Kohli in the multi-starrer action film ‘Virodhi’ (1992). He directed his son again in ‘Aulad Ke Dushman’ (1993) and ‘Qahar’ (1997). Following a hiatus, he returned in 2002 and relaunched his son in Nagin and Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani. The film starred actors like Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Sonu Nigam, Manisha Koirala, Aftab Shivdasani, Arshad Warsi, Aditya Pancholi and Sharad Kapoor. The film was Armaan Kohli’s comeback film where he was reintroduced with a new name Munish Kohli.
